Pop-Up Screen Cinema In The Snow: Muppets Christmas Carol

Bah, Humbug!

The odds for a white Christmas in London have dramatically increased thanks to Pop Up Screens. Head to Notting Hill's 20th Century Theatre and step through their magic wardrobe to discover a secret cinema surrounded by snow. Rumour has it that a bar filled with an abundance of mulled wine, hot chocolate, brownies and popcorn also lies within. Only one way to find out right? This time, it's the Muppets telling of Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol. Wretched miser (Michael Caine) is so mean "even the vegetables don't like him" – yeah, we can quote every line of this film. Follow Gonzo and Rizzo as they narrate the tale of Scrooge's redemption from greedy money-lender to upstanding figure of the community – with lots of laughs, musical numbers and plenty of guest appearances from all your favourite Muppets along the way. Certificate: U. Runtime: 1 hour 19 minutes. Doors open at 7:30pm. Film starts at 8:30pm. Seating is unallocated, but the screen is on a stage so it's hard to get a bad view.
