Pop-Up Screens Outdoor Cinema: Anchorman

Fresh air and classic movies: a winning combination coming to a bit of grass near you

Pop-Up Screens aim to bring brilliant films to cool locations. For this one, head to Coram's Fields in Russell Square for a lot of lovely food, amazing popcorn and a fully stocked bar. If you’d prefer to bring your own picnic that’s ok, but it must be noted you will be missing out on burgers from the guy that supplies Harrods. This time around it’s Will Ferrel as your fave news presenter in Anchorman. Prepare to dive into a '70s newsroom to catch the headlines with top-rated anchorman Ron Burgundy. Also joining him will be a great hunk of feminism in the form of Veronica Cornerstone, a female anchorwoman that isn't happy to stay confined to the sidelines. Not willing to settle for female interests such as cooking and cats, Veronica steps in at the news desk, much against Ron's will – and the war begins. Certificate: 15. Running time: 1 hour 28 minutes. Bring stuff to keep you warm/dry in the British weather and something to sit on. Please do not bring a tent. Doors open 1 hour 30 minutes before the start time. The film starts when it gets dark.
