What happened in 1971? Only the greatest boxing match of all time. On 8th March, Joe Frazier faced off against Muhammed Ali – but that's not what this documentary is about. 1971 recounts the thrilling tale that was unfolding in a federal office as the pugilists slugged it out. With the world distracted, the self-appointed Citizens Commission to Investigate the FBI broke in and ransacked the agency's files. What they found transformed US politics and rocked the FBI. The screening will be followed by a Skype Q&A with director Johanna Hamilton.
