You might all know Eva Longoria as the sexy desperate housewife but get ready to meet her again. As Executive Producer of the award-winning documentary Food Chains, she explores the relationship between the policies of corporate supermarket chains and the working conditions of American farm labourers who pick the produce that is distributed across the nation. As customers we only experience the final stage of the food chain but through this documentary we get a glimpse of the abuse and exploitation farmworkers have to face. This screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Sanjay Rawal and producer Eric Schlosser.
