As a microcosm of South Africa's culture of corruption and exploitation, this new documentary from director Rehad Desai follows the 2012 miners' strike. What began as a peaceful protest for better wages soon turned into violence, as state police intervened and opened fire on protestors – killing 34 and injuring many more. There'll be a Q&A with the director following the screening.
