You wouldn’t think that Rashomon was made in 1950. The iconic film still looks every bit as lush today, and it hasn’t lost its visceral impact either. A nobleman and his wife meet a violent end while riding through the woods...or at least so it seems. As the incident is retold multiple time however, it turns out that all is not as it seems.
