Rehearsed Reading: Ad Liberation By David Ralf

The woman that wasn't afraid of Norman Mailer

1971. New York City Town Hall. A Dialogue on Women’s Liberation. Many prominent feminists have scorned the chance to spar with Norman Mailer - literary giant and the original male chauvinist pig. Only Germaine Greer - young, sharp and notorious - promises to take Mailer on, to woo him, and to “carry him like a wounded child across the wasted world”. She's in for a long night. Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted. No wheelchair access unfortunately.
