The London Musical Theatre Orchestra presents the UK symphonic premiere of State Fair. Set to the magical strains of an Academy Award-winning score, State Fair is the kind of warm-hearted family entertainment only Rodgers and Hammerstein could deliver. Performed by a host of London’s finest vocal talent including: Wendi Peters (Coronation Street), Richard Fleeshman (Urinetown St James Theatre, Ghost The Musical West End and Broadway, Legally Blonde The Musical Savoy Theatre), Emma Hatton (Wicked Apollo Victoria), Oliver Savile (Wicked Apollo Victoria,Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables and MAMMA MIA! international tour) and Celinde Schoenmaker (The Phantom of the Opera Her Majesty’s Theatre and Les Misérables Queens Theatre). Set against the colourful backdrop of an American heartland tradition, State Fair travels with the Frake family as they leave behind the routine of the farm for three days of adventure at the annual Iowa State Fair. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
