Mexican acoustic rock duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela are taking a break from writing their new album, and will play London’s iconic Palladium theatre for the first time. Fans can see the duo in July, more than two years since their last London gigs – two sold-out, seismic nights at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2014. Since they left Mexico for Ireland in 1999, Rodrigo y Gabriela have established themselves as one of the most popular acoustic instrumental bands in the world. They have sold in excess of 1.5 million albums worldwide, and have sold out venues like the Hollywood Bowl, Radio City New York, Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Le Zenith in Paris on numerous occasions. The Palladium show is part of Rodrigo y Gabriela’s 2016 world tour, their biggest ever, taking in twenty three countries all over the globe.
