Ever tried much Filipino cooking? Well of course you have because you’re an adventurous culinary explorer with exquisite taste. But have you tried Romulo Café yet? It’s a swanky Kensington restaurant serving some of the best Filipino food this side of Manila. And with our Food & Drink team giving their London outpost a four star review and raving about the joyful, excellent dishes, it’s clear they’re doing pretty good things over here, too.
Our offer gives you the chance to tuck into a sharing feast (check out the menu below) and bottomless drinks for a palatable £39. This cuisine is making waves over in the States, and where they go we tend to follow. Which means eating here will make you bang-on-trend. We aim to please.

Slow cooked grass fed British beef served on our homemade traditional Filipino bread, caramelised honey chilli, onion glaze and Queso de Bola cheese
Hot smoked Scottish salmon
Topped with stewed taro leaves, coconut dressing and garnished with beetroot, purple potato and watermelon salad
Sizzling chicken 'inasal' sisig
Traditional sizzling Pampanga style Jack Brand diced chicken thighs marinated in annatto, ginger, green chili, garlic, and lemongrass
Smoked fish (tinapa) spring roll
Shredded smoked fish with red eggs and tomatoes in a spring roll wrapper served with pinakurat (spiced) vinegar
Confit duck leg bao bun (patotim)
Tender Creedy Carver duck, served with home-made bao bun, plum sauce, jicama and cucumber
Fresh vegetable spring roll
Fresh spring roll style crepe filled with bean sprouts, potatoes, carrots and turnips topped with roasted peanuts in a peanut sauce (vegan option available)
Crispy squid (pritong pusit)
Julienne strips of deep fried squid served with with a chili honey and garlic glaze topped with spring onions
Kensington fried chicken
Crispy marinated Norfolk chicken served with our very own adobo mayonnaise and Filipino catsup sauce
Dingley dell pork belly adobo (adobong baboy)
Slow cooked in soy, garlic and rice vinegar, served with a trio of potatoes
Young jackfruit and coconut stew (Ginataang langka) (V, VG)
Tropical jackfruit flesh, chilli, ginger stewed in coconut cream and drizzled with annatto oil
Slow cooked lamb kaldereta empanada
Tender pieces of British lamb in spicy tomato & pepper sauce, Filipino cheddar cheese in empanada served with mango salad infused with Don Papa rum
Char-grilled aubergine salad (ensaladang talong) (V)
Grilled aubergine salad nestled in tomato and dressed with salted egg yolk (vegan option available)
Dingley dell crispy pork hock (cripsy pata)
Boneless crispy pork hock served with tomato shrimp sauce, spicy vinegar and Kalamansi seasoned soy sauce
Northern Philippine vegetable medley (bagnet pakbet)
Ratatouille style with aubergine, bitter melon, okra and pumpkin flavoured with salted shrimp paste and crispy pork belly chicharones (vegetarian and vegan option available)
Stir-fried wing beans (ginataang sigarilyas at tinapa)
Crunchy winged bean cooked in coconut milk and enriched with smoked milk fish (vegetarian and vegan option available)
Flan of Taro leaves (Laing) (V)
A very popular dish from the Bicol region of the Philippines featuring the leaves of the gabi root sautéed in coconut milk and spice (vegan option available)
