The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) will be performing at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on March 7 for a concert devoted to the finest music ever written. A chief exponent of Berlioz, Charles Dutoit, will conduct the RPO in a performance of Berlioz’s Benvenuto Cellini Overture, followed by one of the greatest piano concertos of all time, Grieg's glorious Piano Concerto, and Prokofiev’s immense Symphony No.5, which became an instant hit upon its premiere.
