The chief conductor of both the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Oslo Philharmonic Orchestras, Vasily Petrenko has received rave reviews for his handling of the most challenging compositions. Performing Mahler's Symphony No.2 in full, Petrenko will make his debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This all-embracing work, scored for a massive orchestra, will culminate in a heart-stirring and divine choral finale performed by the Philharmonia Chorus, a euphonic spectacle worth the ticket price alone.
