Charles Dutoit returns to direct the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a programme of thrilling works, including Orff’s choral masterpiece Carmina Burana. This work is famed for its incredible beauty, with moments of dramatic intensity alongside magical stillness and splendour.
The evening's programme also includes Beethoven's The Creatures Of Prometheus Overture and Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto – one of the most adored in the repertoire.
