Sarah Gillespie has been skilfully hosting the New York-format "rounds" at the 606 recently – but tonight is all about the lady herself. Considered to be one of the major singer-songwriters on the scene, Gillespie will sing and strum her way through an eclectic and clever collection of songs. Her unique style recalls jazz, Beat poetry, and the Middle East. Plus, her accompanying band features some legends of their own right – including Mercury Prize-nominated pianist Kit Downes.
