Saul Fletcher started his career by photographing sculptural pieces mounted in his London studio. The layers of thick, peeling paint that clung to the wall became a part of the installations, prompting Fletcher to attempt a similar technique in his Berlin studio. This unique exhibition is replete with paint drips, smudges and imperfections that attain a rich symbolism when framed by Fletcher's inquisitive lens.
