Carwash, London’s longest running disco club, has partnered up with Guerilla Science and neuroscientists to conduct a live experiment to discover the Science Of Disco. This experiment investigates these ecstatic shared musical experiences by recording and analysing spontaneous synchrony across people in a real club environment. During the experiment, data collection devices will record physiological information, which will later be used to pinpoint moments of synchronized behaviour among the audience. And, for doing a good deed for science, participants get free entry at the club where thy can stay until 3am. Face painters will be offering glitter makeovers and sparkly accessories, with roller girls taking you through fun dance moves. Not your average night out, that's for sure.
