Semyon Bychkov Conducts The BBC Symphony Orchestra

Semyon Bychkov conducts Brahms, Glanert and Haydn

If there's anything hotter than Thomas Kost's photo of Semyon Bychkov, it's Semyon Bychcov's conducting. Like score reading? Like beat patterns? Course you do, and you know what? Semyon Bychkov does too. The celebrated conductor delivers a programme combining Brahms's titanic First Symphony with a contemporary homage by Detlev Glanert and Haydn’s ebullient First Cello Concerto. Celebrated cellist Paul Watkins is the soloist in Haydn's sparkling masterpiece in C major, a composer much admired by Brahms. Detlev Glanert's lifelong fascination with his Romantic forebears has inspired several works of chameleon-like subtlety and resonance, including this Brahms Fantasie. Over 5s only. Those attending with children under the age of five may not be admitted. For your comfort and security, you may be subject to additional checks on your visit to London theatres. Your patience and understanding is appreciated while these take place. Ticket sales are final and bookings cannot be amended, exchanged or refunded (unless of course the performance is cancelled). All listed offers are subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time.
