Shuffle Festival: Indonesian Restaurant

Outdoor restaurant sampling the delights of Indonesian cuisine with Chef Isadora Tan

Shuffle Festival and The Friends Of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park have been working to breathe new life into the beloved '40s Lodge, situated among 33 acres of London's most urban woodland. This year the Shuffle summer restaurant returns and opens up in this historic building for 10 days. Shuffle have teamed up with Indonesian extraordinaires Ayam Happy to create the only (and best) Indonesian restaurant in East London. Look forward to dining with views of the dense jungle-like surrounds of the park and participate in the ongoing restoration of The Lodge in this urban oasis. Chef Isadora Tan will cook up an authentic Indonesian three-course feast thick with the incense of this year's Shuffle theme, 'Gods And Idols And Light', with Tan's homemade and blasphemous OMFG sauce (It's hot!). A post-dinner evening walk will reveal the wider team building in the grounds in preparation for this years' all day and all night festival on the 9 July. Enter another world where the city comes alive with the work of local artists and the call of a wilder London… As part of the Shuffle Festival, get yourself down to this outdoor Indonesian restaurant, where you can be transported to Indonesia via Tower Hamlets and a delicious menu of Indonesian dishes.
