Shuffle Festival is an annual event which aims to build a more integrated community presence through art, comedy, music, food and film. Taking place in The Lodge Cinema is an evening of short film fun in collaboration with veteran film website, Short Of The Week. Short Of The Week believes in the power of stories. Stories were our first way of passing on knowledge and have shaped our culture. Today, the most interesting stories aren’t just being told in books or on TV, they’re being told on the internet. It’s where storytellers are breaking free from formulas, inventing new genres, and surprising the world with new points of view. Tonight, Short Film Of The Week are releasing some of their stories from their natural habitat, the internet, to Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park with a run of short films in response to Shuffle Festival's theme of movement, migration and place.
