Got a burning desire to take your hobby to the next level? Enter Side Hustle Sessions by Time Out and Samsung. Together, we’re curating three workshops by London-based entrepreneurs who have built thriving businesses from their passions. Not only will you pick up some exclusive intel into how to turn a hobby into a side-hustle, but you’ll also get to make something of your very own at Samsung KX, the brand’s futuristic hub at Coal Drops Yard in King’s Cross. At each workshop, you’ll get hands-on tutorials on the latest Samsung tech, learning how Samsung products could help you ‘Power the Possible’. 

At this session, New Zealand-born, London-based chef Chantelle Nicholson will guide you through zero-waste cooking with cauliflower. You’ll get hands-on, using the leaves to make kimchi (which you’ll get to take home!) then cooking a roasted cauliflower soup with pickled stems and spicy zhoug. Not only that, but you’ll get to use some of Samsung’s futuristic kitchen technology, including smart refrigerators that help you manage your ingredients. 

As you learn zero-waste cooking techniques, Chantelle will share useful tips on how she went from part-time jobs in cafés and restaurants to owning the Mayfair restaurant Apricity, famous for its low-waste approach and commitment to sustainability. She’ll also give you insights on creating social-first content to grow your profile online, using the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6.

• Your ticket is valid for one entry to Side Hustle Sessions with Chantelle Nicholson at Samsung KX on Thursday, October 10 at 6.30-8.00pm.
• Please present your e-ticket on arrival. Ticket is only valid for selected time and date.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time as the event starts promptly at 6.30pm.
• Each ticket purchased includes entrance to the event. All necessary materials will be provided for the workshop.
• Samsung devices are loaned as part of the workshop and are allocated on a first come first served basis. Specific models provided may vary.
• Seating is unallocated.
• Once sold out additional tickets will not be available for purchase on the door. All tickets must be purchased online.
