This 1957 film was adapted from the musical of the same name – which in turn was a remake of Ninotchka. The film received Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Film and Best Actress and remains a cult classic to this day. Nina ‘Ninotchka’ Yoschenko (Cyd Charisse) is sent to Paris to deal with three bumbling Soviet operatives who are after a Russian composer.
