Brainchild of Dave Rowntree (Blur's drummer), the Star Boot Sale will be a traditional car boot sale selling items personally donated by musicians, actors and artists including Coldplay, Blur, Hot Chip, Rumer, former Spice Girl Mel C and Stephen Fry, to name a few. Get down to Brick Lane Yard on Sunday 22 May to see what treasure you might unearth from your favourite musician or artist's attic – and watch out for some very special guest appearances. The Star Boot Sale is raising funds for the International Rescue Committee's Syria Response and all items sold will help fund two vital mobile health clinics for Syrian refugees in Jordan. Doors open: 11am. Items on sale will be sold on a first come first served basis. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the charitable nature and limited capacity of the event, all guests 8 years and up must have a valid full price ticket and all under 8s must have a valid free ticket to gain entry. No tickets will be available on the door.
