Sex, scandal, and miscarriages of justice all come to light in this swingin’ sixties roller coaster. Written by the man who almost embodies musicals (Andrew Lloyd Webber, obv) Stephen Ward deals with one of the most famous trials of the 1900s: the Profumo Affair. Set in 1963, it was the decade that would revolutionise our outlook on how to live and behave; and much of it was thanks to one man caught in the middle, whose experiments in libertarianism would shake the foundations of society.
