The Doctor’s Orders were honoured to promote the legendary Phife Dawg of 'A Tribe Called Quest’s' last UK shows. As one quarter of the most influential hip-hop group of all time Phife touched every hip-hop fan in one way or another and they pay tribute to the man and his music tonight with those who knew him best. Whether a fan of Tribe, like so many of use are, or just of hip-hop as a whole, there is no way you have not been affected by their music. Cited by everyone from Pharrell and Kanye to Kendrick and Outkast as influences their sound is the pinnacle of classic '90s hip-hop and beyond, with 2016’s ‘We Got It From Here’ reaching No.1 around the world and converting armies of new fans. For this special night of tribute and celebration one year after his tragic passing, TDO are joined by DJ Rasta Root who as well as Phife’s DJ was also his manager for the last year’s of his life. On mic duties they've got The Doctor’s Orders own MC Pranksta aka The Trini Gladiata who acted as Phife’s hype man on tours around the world. Joining them are Spin Doctor who will be playing a break to the beat set dedicated to Tribe while in room 2 DJ LoK and Bobafatt will spin all things funky from hip-hop through soul to disco and beyond.
