Written by Ciarán Myers, directed by Catherine Fowles and drawing inspiration from Elmer Rice's expressionist classic The Adding Machine, Backstage Forward presents The Adding. This dark comedy plays with sex, death, cuddles, puppetry, and finance for our modern recession-era generation as you follow a couple through the greatest sins of their lives. See the show, and then join Backstage Forward and journey Into the Underworld as you explore the process of theatre making through hands-on workshops, which will focus on specific elements of the set, lighting, and puppetry. Workshops will begin at 4:45pm and 8:45pm on 24th September and last 45 minutes. You can attend the workshops without purchasing tickets to the show, and all materials needed for the workshops will be provided. Over 14s only.
