Keaton stars as a hapless fool who attempts to become a motion picture cameraman in order to get closer to the woman he desires. In this film-within-a-film, the hilarious compendium of deliberate cinematic errors climaxes with a monkey shooting the greatest newsreel of all time.
A live soundtrack will accompany the film, played – on Regent Street Cinema's original 1936 Compton Organ – by Donald Mackenzie.
