The Candlelight Club, London’s clandestine candle-filled 1920s party, presents a special Halloween celebration in a ghostly speakeasy, haunted by Jack-o'-lanterns aplenty. The roaring twenties liked nothing more than a fancy-dress party, so don your finest jazz age Halloween outfits – ghostly flappers, spiderwomen, devils and imps, glamorous vampires, dapper wizards and coquettish witches. Your host for the evening will be that Lord of Cabaret Misrule, impish impresario Champagne Charlie, and live jazz music from the aptly named Silver Ghosts, as well as vintage vinylism from DJ Auntie Maureen spinning platters by long-dead musicians. If you want to stare into your future or commune with the dead they'll also be offering tarot readings from fortune tellers Foxglove and Pure Venom. The bar will be dispensing vintage cocktails and the kitchens will offer a fine-dining set menu as well as bar snacks and sharing platters. Over 18s only. Valid ID required.
