Upon its release in 1982, The Dark Crystal was ahead of its time. Over 30 years later, it continues to dazzle thanks to the longevity of Jim Henson’s ghoulish characters. The fantasy film’s use of animatronics is particularly impressive. The fun starts before you even sit down – to reach the pop-up venue you’ll have to navigate your way through a scary maze.
