Start your Epicurean experience as you mean to go on, with a delicious 'distilled by the seaside' gin, and be sure to head over to the Brighton Gin exhibition stand when you're there, to find out more about (and sample some more of!) their product
What is The Epicurean?
The Epicurean itself is an event that will bring you more than 1,000 food and drink products, all available to taste as part of your ticket price. No tokens, no funny money, just pick up a glass and discover.
The policy is to promote wines that are not available in the supermarket and beers and spirits that are not mass produced, so you are guaranteed to find truly unique products. What’s more, The Epicurean encourages you to Try Before You Buy, because we’ve all been disappointed before when we’ve opened that ‘recommended’ bottle at home!
Apart from the opportunity to taste nearly 1,000 amazing drinks, all as part of your ticket price, you will receive the world’s finest glass to taste them from. In partnership with Riedel and Spiegelau you will receive wine, beer and spirits glasses for your tasting pleasure.
In case you are wondering how you get those home, you will receive an all natural jute bag to carry home your glasses and any bottles you decide to buy on the day. The bag will also include an event catalogue, water from Wenlock Spring (very important) and a few goodies and competition opportunities, such as free wine, beer and spirits for Christmas (that’s the only time we’ll mention that word!).
In case your taste buds need a rest, we are also bringing you an array of entertainment including music, talks, The Epicurean Gallery with resident artist Christian Furr and our street food canteen with a bar and space to relax.
