The Last Word Festival 2016: A Language We Both Know How To Sound Out

Celebrate the best of spoken word at The Roundhouse

Featuring the best of poetry, storytelling and live performance, The Last Word Festival returns to The Roundhouse (one of the world's most incredible live performance venues) for another year. The festival showcases the best talent in spoken word, from the genre's trailblazers to rising stars and everything in between. Get ready to be amused, moved and lexically delighted by the best wordsmiths around. A Language We Both Know How To Sound Out is a series of poems written by London Laurette, Raymond Antrobus on how he, as a hard of hearing poet, navigates the hearing world. This is a collaboration with actress and director, Charmaine Wombwell (Deafinitely Theatre). The show takes place in the Dorfman Hub at The Roundhouse. Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted.
