The Liberation Project

Experience freedom from limits on thought or behaviour

The Oxford dictionary defines the term 'Liberation' as: "Freedom from limits on thought or behaviour" This is the basis of what is aimed to be achieve in The Liberation Project workshops. The Project focuses on positive transformation through nudity. We liberate ourselves by shedding our outer layers, our clothing. As our clothing is removed, some participants choose to voice the psychological shift they are experiencing. Others remain silent, lost in their own wonderment. We are able to feel, using our senses in a childlike, more instinctual way. We feel truly Liberated, at peace with others and ourselves and blissfully happy. Workshop One: Body Mapping The workshop begins with discussions about what liberation means and how we can achieve it. As we talk openly, the room becomes a safe and exciting space for exploration. Then, we move on, removing clothing, noticing how we’ve created a place of innocence, curiosity and creativity. Body mapping techniques will be used to put ‘paint to body’. This is a hugely fun, interactive and meaningful experience. Then you'll discuss what each colour signifies to us as individuals and how we subconsciously associate colour with emotion. By the end of the session you’ll feel liberated. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. Enter via our Main Event entrance on Leake Street. Running time: 2 hours.
