Every so often you need to catch some live music. It rejuvenates the soul…it delivers a sharp kick up the ass of apathy. Thankfully, RM Hubbert and The Local are presenting two shows of ass-kicking alt music, featuring a diverse range of talented artists. Expect to hear mind-expanding, life-affirming pop from Grumbling Fur, Ela Orleans' distinctive brand of melancholic music and a post punk spin on flamenco coming courtesy of RM Hubbert himself. Also joining them will be James Blackshaw, whose fingerstyle on a 12-string guitar is stunning to both the ears and the eyes and Kathryn Joseph, who has just won the Scottish Album Of The Year. They'll be spread across two halls, and The Quietus DJs will be in support as well. This is live and kicking music.
