A Curious Invitation is her venture to bring this expertise to life. Tonight, you're invited to one of their grandest parties…the Midsummer Masked Ball. Think Jane Austen meets A Midsummer Night's Dream, with performers and DJs aplenty. Dance the night away with Lady Scarlet or The White Nights, and then get down as Penny Metal and Louise XIV spin some special discs. There's even the opportunity to play around with instruments of torture in the dungeon with Captain Crop. Oo-er. Over 18s only. Dress code: masks are obligatory. Think fairytale characters, forgotten glamour, fantasy, pagan gods, Venice Carnival, circus, top hat and tails, burlesque, mythical beasts, and anyone or anything you've ever dreamed of being. Pro tip: arrive for 9pm to partake in a dance lesson, whether that's waltz, swing, or pole dancing.
