The Mousetrap

The longest running show in the world – this is a classic not to be missed

Based on the murder mystery by queen of suspense Agatha Christie, this will have you spines a-tingling. In a country house cut off in a snowdrift, there’s a murderer lurking around. But who is it? As characters shed their shady skin, the culprit is found in a nerve-shaking moment. With an intricate plot and superb acting get ready to ask…whodunnit? Originally intended to be one of a pair with the adjacent Ambassadors which opened in 1913, the St Martin's debut was delayed by the outbreak of the Great War: the first performance, of Houpla, billed as a comedy with music, took place in 1916. The venue is tightly associated with the longest running play on London's West End. The Mousetrap originally opened in 1952, starring the late Richard Attenborough and his wife Sheila Sim, and continues its record-breaking run. Suitable for ages 12 and over. Runtime: 2 hours 20 minutes, with one 15-minute intermission. All ticket prices for The Mousetrap are inclusive of any booking fees: YPlan will not charge you any additional amounts for your tickets. When booking tickets, you can pick your seat from the seatmap once you've selected a date. For your comfort and security, you may be subject to additional checks on your visit to London theatres. Your patience and understanding is appreciated while these take place. Valid ID required for ticket collection. West End theatre ticket sales are final and bookings cannot be amended, exchanged or refunded (unless of course the performance is cancelled). All listed offers are subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time.
