This New Year's Eve, London’s most glamorous pleasure seekers are invited to shake out their tassels, unfurl their feathers and elude the beady eye of the law at the most lavish Prohibition Party yet. Obscured from the prying eyes of patrol officers, this evening of illicit drinking and good times will be held in a secret Central London ballroom, only to be revealed two weeks prior to the event. Guests will be transported back to the giddy magic of the roaring twenties, and experience live bands, DJs on gramophones, silent cinemas, dance troupes and gambling tables throughout the night. In order to elude the beady eye of the law, cocktail menus will be circulated and hidden inside the pages of books, with all drinks served in teacups. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. Start time: 9pm, with floorshow and gambling from 10pm. Dress code: strictly 1920s, entry will be refused to guests wearing jeans or trainers.
