"Woodshedding" is a musician's term meaning "going off to practice." It's typically used by jazz musicians to suggest a devotion to getting it right. Everybody at Smitty's spends significant time in "the shed", which is why they thought it would be the perfect name for their new weekly Thursday night concerts. Each week they invite guests and friends from across the musical landscape into "The Shed". With Smitty's creative direction, they'll work on new material and collaborate with new artists to perform a specially curated and arranged set. Moses Boyd is one of those guys who can't keep still, musically speaking anyway, whether performing as part of an award winning duo, solo or as we're going to see when he lands in The Shed with his band Exodus.
