Currently in its 10th year, The Smalls Film Festival has now become an intrinsic part of the London film scene. Kim Longinotto is one of the most celebrated documentary filmmakers of her generation. Longinotto's career spans over 30 years, gaining her international recognition for films such as Pink Saris and The Day I Will Never Forget, and her most recent film Dreamcatcher was lauded by critics and audiences alike. Winning a slew of awards, including a BAFTA for her 2000 documentary Divorce Iranian Style, Longinotto's compassionate, unflinching filmmaking has raised the bar for documentary filmmakers across the globe.
