Currently in its 10th year, The Smalls Film Festival has now become an intrinsic part of the London film scene. From discovering young talent and creating networking opportunities to showcasing a great selection of short films, this is the place to be this September. For this one prepare for a discussion about oestrogen-infused humour and the new wave of successful female comedians. With the recent success of female comedians in the US such as Amy Schumer and Lena Dunham, it seems that the age old myth that 'women aren't funny' is quickly becoming a tired joke. But is the UK following suit? Join us for our panel as we talk to some leading female comedy writers and experts who will offer an invaluable insight into the changing landscape.
