The spooky stage classic still remains one of the finest
Based on Susan Hill’s creepy novella of the same name, The Woman in Black has been a staple at the Fortune Theatre since 1989, and for good reason. Try not to jump too much as you follow Arthur Kipps, a junior solicitor, as he’s summoned to the funeral of Mrs Alice Drablow, the only resident of her home. Kipps is clueless of the secrets behind the house’s shuttered windows and gets uneasy when he glimpses a woman in black at the funeral... Best available dress circle seating.
"The Woman in Black remains on of British theatre’s biggest – and scariest – hits."
