In 1984, Thierry Noir was the first artist to illegally paint mile upon mile of the Berlin Wall. His aim was to make the wall seem ridiculous and, since then, his distinctive works have become iconic. The Howard Griffin Gallery present a retrospective of this graffiti wielding freedom fighter, juxtaposing photographs, interviews, and films with Noir’s work.
