The seventh Designs of the Year exhibition brings together the work of fresh new designers, including friendly lamp posts, a build-it-yourself mobile phone and a school floating on a Nigerian lagoon. Tonight, Mat Hunter of the Design Council joins some of the nominees in discussion, questioning how design can go beyond the practical to question how we think. General admission.
