This structured course is ideal for those who have never painted before and for those who want to reinforce their basic watercolour knowledge. Experienced artist William Newton will be your tutor that will take you through the basics from stretching your paper, perspective and how to transfer images. You will learn to see colours, shape and tone and relate these elements together in compositions created in class. The class will teach you about washes, glazing, wet in wet, dry brush, lifting off and other techniques. The course aims to nurture you with self-confidence and enjoyment of painting in a stimulating, fun and relaxing environment. Must be available for 25th July, 1st August and 8th August. All the materials will be provided. Dress code: preferable to wear old clothes.
