Violinists Richard Tognetti and Satu Vänskä collaborate with pioneering electronic artists from the Guildhall School, exploring the integral relationship between classical music, minimalism and the birth of electronica. Electronic music was being made as early as 1890. In the first half of this double bill, electronic musicians take you through decades of musical innovation, before Tognetti and Vänskä reimagine an eclectic mix of music from Nine Inch Nails and Aphex Twin to Kaija Saariaho, accompanied by mesmerising visuals by Jon Frank.
