'80s pop icon Toyah will be taking to the stage of the Vauxhall Tavern to deliver her world-famous cabaret stage show Up Close And Personal. Household name, pop icon, TV presenter, and actress, this is an intimate acoustic show where music and stories take centre stage. And she's certainly got a few stories to share from her colourful, thirty-five year career, covering everything from filming pop videos on horseback at 5am in the morning to acting alongside Katharine Hepburn and Laurence Olivier. Toyah will be accompanied by a talented duo of artists (Chris Wong and Colin Hinds) on melodic acoustic versions of the hits It’s A Mystery, Thunder In The Mountains, I Want To Be Free and Good Morning Universe through to Sensational, a track used recently on a national TV advertising campaign starring Patsy Kensit.
