Udderbelly is back, and this year it's bigger than ever. With a mammoth 15-week run, get ready for an extravaganza of music, comedy and all manner of entertainment, all inside the festival's iconic, upside-down purple cow on the South Bank. Ireland’s top comedy hip-hop improv team, Abandoman, return to the Udderbelly Festival for their biggest show to date. Using their trademark blend of audience interaction and razor-sharp improvisation, Abandoman will take you on a magical journey, transforming the audience’s likes, loathes and daydreams into hit songs and captivating tales. Previous winners of the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, Musical Comedy Awards and the Adelaide Fringe Festival "Best Comedy – Newcomer" awards, the past few years have seen Abandoman performing through Europe, USA, Canada and Australia; as well as supporting multi-platinum artist Ed Sheeran on his sell-out UK tour. Abandoman have previously appeared on 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Ray D’Arcy Show (RTE), BBC Radio 1‘s Live Lounge, and Sky Arts Latitude coverage. They are firm favourites at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and have stormed numerous festivals such as Bestival, Latitude, Altitude, Rockness, Glastonbury, Electric Picnic and V Festival.
