Udderbelly 2016: Wifi Wars

Video games, quizzes and comedy – Wifi Wars has it all

YPlan special offer - £12.50 tickets reduced to £9 for 27th May show Udderbelly is back, and this year it's bigger than ever. With a mammoth 15-week run, get ready for an extravaganza of music, comedy and all manner of entertainment, all inside the festival's iconic, upside-down purple cow on the South Bank. WiFi Wars is a live comedy game show where you play along. Login with your smartphone or tablet (make sure you’ve got plenty of battery) and compete in a range of games, quizzes and challenges to win the show. Hosted by comedian and regular video games commentator Steve McNeil (Challenge TV’s Videogame Nation, Ginx TV’s Console Yourself, Minecraft: Digging Deeper), the show was first performed as part of the Royal Institution’s 2015 Summer Programme after Steve and Rob Sedgebeer’s appearance on their 2014 BBC Christmas Lectures. The technology used in the show was originally created by the boys for live video gaming/comedy show Go 8-Bit, which you may have spotted in things such as Time Out (Critic’s Choice) and on BBC Radio 4 Extra. They also had their own stage at Eurogamer’s EGX, welcoming over 80,000 people to the event over its four day run at Earls’ Court. Go 8-Bit is currently in development for television. Not suitable for under 12s. Please be aware the lineup is subject to change. Valid ID required for ticket collection. Ticket sales are final and bookings cannot be amended, exchanged or refunded (unless of course the performance is cancelled). All listed offers are subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time.
