These two rehearsed readings are part of the Unheard Festival, promoting new writing on tough themes. Tonight these scratch performances focus on Mukhtar Mai, an illiterate woman from Pakistan, who became the first woman in her country to bring her rapists to justice. The other play focuses on the experience of four women from different backgrounds, who overcome hardships with a whole lot of courage.
