Valentines At The Exhibit: An Officer + A Gentleman With Meal + Cocktail

Celebrate Valentine's Day with a movie, meal and a delicious drink (or two)

The Exhibit is London's smallest independent cinema. But, for what it lacks in size, it sure as hell makes up for in heart. With an intimate atmosphere, leather sofa seating and attached bar with garden, it really does offer the perfect silver screen experience. Choose a flick from their programme of the best contemporary and classic films, kickback in a sofa, and get ready to fall in love with cinema all over again. For Valentine’s weekend, they've got a series of special screenings in store, all packaged together neatly in a special dinner and movie deal. Guests receive a film ticket, three-course meal and cocktail to make sure they have a Valentine's day to remember. This screening is for the most romantic movie of the '80s, An Officer And A Gentleman. Richard Gere stars as Zack Mayo, a young cadet undergoing officer training that becomes romantically entangled with a beautiful stranger. They don't make them like they used to. "An Officer and a Gentleman is the best movie about love that I've seen in a long time. Maybe that's because it's not about "love" as a Hollywood concept, but about love as growth, as learning to accept other people for who and what they are." – Roger Ebert "A hugely compelling drama." – New York Times Menu: Starters: - Tempura oysters + seaweed mayonnaise - Duck taco + cucumber relish - Beetroot, goats curd + parmesan crisp Main: - Crispy sea bream, green mango + sour fruit salad - Wild mushroom ravioli, tarragon + pecorino cream - For two to share: smoked + slow roast beef rib, slaw + creamed potato Dessert: - Passionfruit, raspberry + white chocolate cheesecake - For two to share: black forest pavlova - Cheese plate + onion chutney If you are attending the 4pm screening on Sunday 14th you will be seated for your meal at approx 6pm.
