Vault Festival 2016: Write It: Mic It

Poleroid's legendary Open ‘Write’ Night

London’s biggest arts festival is returning: make your way underground for six weeks of creativity, innovation and chaos at Vault Festival. With more than 100 different shows spread across eight incredible venues, you're not going to find anything else like it above or below ground any time soon. After three years of sold out nights at the Hackney Attic, Castle Hotel Manchester and Paines Plough Roundabout Edinburgh, Poleroid are bringing their acclaimed night back to London with an eclectic mix of new material from some of the UK’s most exciting emerging playwrights, comedians and performance poets. Poleroid Theatre are kicking off their 2016 programme at the Vault Festival this February with Write It: Mic It, their legendary Open ‘Write’ Platform. Fresh from debuting their new play Plastic by Kenneth Emson at Latitude Festival 2015 and nominated for three Off-West End Theatre Awards in 2014, Poleroid Theatre is working to discover and develop the contemporary image of emerging artists in the UK and give this talent a platform through fast-paced, bold new theatre. Acts soon to be announced. Show takes place in the Crescent space. Running time is approximately 1 hour.
