David Ives' hit Broadway two-hander 'Venus in Fur' is getting its West End premiere in a new production directed by Patrick Marber, and featuring telly stars Natalie Dormer and David Oakes. It's a twisted S&M-tinged comedy set on one messed-up night in downtown Manhattan. Vanda is a struggling actress who's determined to land a part, even through director Thomas doesn't think her face fits. So she decides to give him an audition he won't forget... Patrick Marber's a hugely successful playwright and director, best known for productions of his work including Dealer's Choice at the NT. He'll be directing David Ive's Tony Award-winning play, which has also been turned into a film by Roman Polanski. Natalie Dormer is best known for seductive appearances in telly hits including 'The Tudors' and 'Game of Thrones'. Her co-star David Oakes has appeared as Juan in 'The Borgias'.
